Murano Glass Wall Sconces

Our Murano glass wall sconces are hand-blown in our workshop on the mainland of Venice, using techniques Venetian glassmakers have handed down for centuries. From vintage-style triedri and quadriedri to shell sconces, Rostrato and Tronchi, every wall light is made by hand, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Murano glass wall lights for every room

A pair of sconces on either side of a bed, a mirror or a fireplace is the classic way to use Murano glass wall lights. In hallways and stairwells, a row of sconces gives soft, even light; in a living room, a single statement piece can light a reading corner. Many of our sconces are available as a single piece or as a matching pair.

Styles of Murano sconces

Triedri, Quadriedri and Poliedri: faceted blocks of thick glass with a mid-century, architectural look, in clear or coloured glass such as pink, ginger and smoky.

Tronchi: hand-blown glass tubes with a bark-like texture, with matching chandeliers in our Tronchi collection.

Rostrato: clear glass covered in hand-pulled points that sparkle like ice. Discover the Rostrato collection.

Shell and glass brick sconces: single blown shapes or thick textured blocks on brass frames, in amber, clear or aquamarine glass.

Sizes, bulbs and wiring

Our wall sconces range from compact pieces of about 24 cm for bedside walls to tall 70–82 cm sconces for high ceilings and large walls. Most take standard E12/E14 bulbs (the glass brick sconces take G9); bulbs are not included. Every lamp is wired to the electrical standards of the destination country, 110 V or 220 V.
